About Us

Servant Hood Ministry

Servant Hood Ministry was founded in 2013 G.C by mission minded full time ministers with devine calling to serve God among the nomadic communities of Afar & Northern part of Ethiopia. The ministry was established out of a deep passion to share the Gospel, disciple believers, and bring holistic transformation to unreached people through acts of love, service, and community development.

Since its beginning, the ministry has been actively engaged in spreading the Gospel among unreached communities and providing humanitarian support, including education, health awareness, and livelihood projects. Over the years, thousands of lives have been impacted spiritually, socially, and physically.

In 2024 G.C the ministry’s vision was reformed and expanded by 53 General Assembly members and 7 Board members, together with the participation of more than 500 evangelical believers as gospel fellowship members. Most of the fellowship members are the full time ministers and living throughout the world. The renewed vision aims is to extend the ministry’s reach beyond North Shewa and Eastern Ethiopia — to serve throughout the entire nation and eventually to the nations of the world.

Addis Ababa, the capital City of Ethiopia, has become a center where many pastors, evangelists, solo gospel singers, and choirs live and minister. Recognizing this opportunity, Servant Hood Ministry began mobilizing these leaders and ministers to return to their villages and towns to preach the Gospel and disciple their communities.

In 2024, the ministry gathered over 300 leaders and believers in Addis Ababa to pray, discuss, lunch and unite under this renewed vision. Together, they committed to work hand in hand to fulfill the Great Commission and to invite individuals, churches, and parachurch organizations from around the world to join this mission.

In 2025, for the second time, Servant Hood Ministry organized a special gathering of around 500 Gospel fellowship members from Addis Ababa and 30 church leaders and full-time ministers from evangelical churches in North Shewa and Eastern part of Ethiopia. During this event, the ministry shared its vision and strategic plans for future growth. It was a very successful meeting, and all participants committed to collaborate fully in advancing the Gospel.

Therefore;-they were very interested and committed to work together and;-

  1. They are very willing to pray for the evangelism that will work in the area.
  2. They are committed to contribute the money
  3. All full time ministers and members of fellowship are promised to give voluntarily serves
